Charged-Particle Emission Following Muon Capture in Complex Nuclei

Abstract
A model combining pre-equilibrium and compound-nucleus emission is used to explain the observed emission of charged particles following capture from nuclei with . The good agreement obtained constitutes additional evidence for a recently proposed distribution of the nucleon momenta in nuclei.
