Abstract
Resonances on the upper transverse polariton branch of ZnSe are studied under uniaxial stress by two-photon excitation spectroscopy. Due to the small linewidth, shifts and splittings are clearly resolved and the hydrostatic, tetragonal, and trigonal deformation potentials are determined with high accuracy. Keywords
