Abstract
Data including records of 10 subjectively scored traits of horses judged in connection with Icelandic horse shows held in the years 1962-1982 were analyzed. Non-genetic effects of year of judgment, sex and age of the horse contributed significantly to the variation in most traits studied. The heritability estimates ranged from 0.13-0.53 (h = 0.28). The genetic and phenotypic correlations among the subjectively scored traits were generally positive. This publication has 13 references indexed in Scilit:
