Abstract
Arguments against utilizing acceptance and commitment therapy in the pediatric population suggest that the requisite concepts are too complex and abstract for children and adolescents to grasp. However, this is one of several reports (see also {1,2}) that note the successful application of acceptance and commitment therapy in the treatment of various pediatric populations. Acceptance and commitment therapy may have wider applications in management of youth with at-risk behaviors beyond management of anxiety disorders. This Recommendation is of an article referenced in an F1000Prime Report also written by Daniel A. Geller and Jennifer M. Park. Keywords
