Abstract
The author presents a review of several implementations of knowledge-based control systems. He also presents a set of criteria that can be used for classification and evaluation of such systems and implementations. He then outlines a systematic approach for the design of knowledge-based control systems with an emphasis on microcomputer-based systems. Keywords
