Abstract
After a brief review of the literature, the author describes the development, course, and treatment of a case of Tourette syndrome, as well as the family psychodynamics involved. Psychometric studies are included. Observation is over a thirteen year period. Description of the two year course of treatment includes an evaluation of the part played by hypnotherapy, psychotherapy, and Haloperidol, each of which is considered to have played an essential part in the apparent “cure.”Keywords
