Abstract
By [2 + 2] cyclization and elimination of an alcohol moiety, the diallenyldiethers, prepared through allenylation reaction of acetals with 1, 8-bis (trimethylsilyl)-2, 6-octadiyne, lead by heating to 1, 4-disubstituted benzocyclobutenes, in good yields. Keywords
