Abstract
We have made a complete measurement of the scattering function S(q, ω) in the critical region of the strongly anisotropic material FeF2. From the angular dependence of the scattering we have determined the temperature dependence of the staggered static susceptibility χ(T) and inverse correlation range κ(T). From the observed inelasticities we have found the wave vector and temperature dependence of the longitudinal spin‐spin relaxation rates. These data provide the first direct evidence of the dynamical scaling behavior in anisotropic antiferromagnets, and are compared with the recent calculations of Riedel and Wegner. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
