Abstract
It is pointed out that the recent measurements of the low-energy annihilation cross section by Cline et al. must be heavily contaminated by annihilations of stopping antiprotons and therefore the resulting cross section is grossly overestimated. We also remark briefly on the "antishrinkage" observed in the low-energy elastic scattering.
