Abstract
The physical therapist has certain knowledge and skills, and has professional authority in the performance of specific functions. In educational, administrative, or treatment activities, authority is an essential ingredient in the execution of the physical therapist’s influence and performance. Effective and efficient delivery of health care services are professional and administrative goals. The physical therapist equipped with knowledge and understanding to effect real influence within the professional role of authority can best attain these goals. Keywords
