Abstract
This text was originally delivered as an invited address to Division A (Administration) at the annual meeting of the American Educational Research Association held in San Francisco in April 1992. The author discusses 10 major school change strategies, beginning with training in group dynamics in the early 1950s through today's emphasis on school restructuring.
