Electromagnetic Properties of Superconductors

Abstract
An integral relationship between the super-current and the vector potential of the electromagnetic field, similar to Pippard's phenomenological equation, is derived from the gauge-invariant theory of Wentzel. Expressions for coherence distance and penetration depth have been calculated.Keywords
