Abstract
A 44-yr.-old man experienced sweating of the left side of the face, profuse after 5 min., on eating. Selective tests placed the afferent limb in the chorda tympani and the efferent limb in the cervical sympathetic chain. Subcut. injn. of histamine acid phosphate (0.5 mg.) produced sweating localized in the gustatory sweating area, which was inhibited by the antihistamine drugs.
