Abstract
First-summer Sand Martins are more prone to accidental deaths (eg traffic) than older birds, but most of the annual mortality occurs outside Britain. First-year birds suffer 77% losses, while mean annual adult mortality is 65%.This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
