Abstract
Overused campsites near a Montana lake were closed to allow vegetation to recover, but examinations after five and eight years showed that little recovery had occurred. Lack of success is attributed to slow rates of natural recovery, poor compliance with the closures, and failure to apply active measures to assist revegetation.This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
