Abstract
In our opinion, ACTH and corticosteroids are of definite value in the treatment of certain acute neurologic disorders. ACTH is more effective and safer than the corticosteroids. In the patients we treated, complications with ACTH therapy were essentially negligible, even with prolonged use. Our observations on the clinical effects of ACTH conform to those of others. Keywords
