Abstract
Angular distribution and spin polarization of Auger electrons following photoionization and photoexcitation are presented in concise parametrized expressions. The striking similarity with corresponding expressions for photoelectrons enables one to apply kinematic properties known for photoelectrons in analyzing Auger electrons. Keywords
