Abstract
The partition function corresponding to an equation of state for a high‐temperature high‐density gas suggested by Rowlinson has been derived. The equations for selected thermodynamic properties of the gas are obtained from this partition function using statistical thermodynamics. These equations are used to calculate results for the case of hydrogen in the range of temperature between 500 and 3000°K and in the range of density between 1 and 2000 amagat. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
