The Frequency of the Red Cell NADH Diaphorase Dia2 Allele in Sardinia

Abstract

Out of 989 Sardinian individuals, 16 Dia (NADH diaphorase) 2–1 phenotypes have been found. The estimate of the Dia2 frequency is, therefore, 0.0081 ± 0.0020, which is higher than that of the other populations so far examined.
