Parabiosis between Old and Young Rats

Abstract
Technique requires asepsis even with rats. Ten pairs whose members differ in age by 5 months survived for more than a year. Parabiotic disease with diarrhea is responsible for many losses. Only pairs of the same sex have been united. For nutritional and psychological studies pairs may be united facing in opposite directions.
