Abstract
In the framework of the bond‐fluctuation method, we have studied the diffusion properties of randomly cross‐linked polymer melts. From the connectivity matrices of simulated network samples, their ideal diffusion behavior was calculated. The resulting functions were compared with data from Monte Carlo simulations. For the cross‐link densities under consideration, no dramatic deviation from prediction of ideal behavior was observed. In addition to the test of the generalized Rouse diffusion, our simulations illustrate the good mobility of cross‐linked melts within the bond‐fluctuation method. Keywords
