Abstract
Euseius tularensis Congdon n. sp. is described, and E. hibisci (Chant) is redescribed. Crossing studies demonstrated that the two species are reproductively isolated. The range of E. hibisci in California is restricted to mostly coastal areas from Santa Barbara southward, and occurs most commonly on Persea americana Mill. (avocado). E. tularensis n. sp. occurs in more inland areas of southern California and throughout the San Joaquin and Sacramento valleys in central and northern California, mainly on Citrus species. Keywords
