Abstract
The many-beam dynamical theory of electron diffraction is used to simulate zone axis patterns in molybdenite. It is shown that all the main features of the complex [0001] patterns can be generated with a 61 beam calculation, and that marked changes in the patterns with accelerating voltage and specimen thickness can be explained by the form of the dispersion surfaces. Keywords
