Abstract
A spectrofluorometric study of some of the hallucinogenic drugs has been made. The wavelengths of maximum excitation and maximum fluorescence emission are presented for several hallucinogens in various solvents and at various pH values. Practical detection limits, the optimum solvent systems, and some of the problems involved in the use of spectrofluorometry in the identification and determination of certain hallucinogens are given. Keywords
