Abstract
Hiccup previously was thought to be due to a single disease that produced an abnormal irritation of the phrenic nerve or of the higher centers. A study of 220 cases of intractable hiccup suggests that there may be several exciting causes that one must elucidate in the same patient. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
