Abstract
Results to date from the physical, chemical, and biological characterization of potential toxicants in liquid, solid, and gaseous process streams of an experimental low Btu gasifier are summarized. Caution is advised on any conclusions since these results were obtained with a limited data base for a small experimental gasifier. The hypotheses proposed will be subjected to more rigorous testing in future sampling and analysis efforts.Keywords
