Abstract
Using scanning tunneling microscopy, we have obtained an atomically resolved image of an isolated fragment of a semiconductor cluster which was deposited on a graphite surface from a colloidal suspension. The image depicts ten atoms arranged as two fused six-membered rings which have a distance of 6.5±0.5 Å between centers.Keywords
