Abstract
When a radioactively-labelled gene probe is hybridized to chromosomes on a microscope slide, the site of hybridization should be revealed by counting emitted .beta.-particles on a photographic overlay. However, in some cases background radiation disguises the site of hybridization. Using GLIM to fit Poisson regression models, it is possible to determine the chromosome to which the gene has hybridized. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
