Abstract
The reaction of several 3‐hydroxyisothiazoles with alkyl and aryl isocyanates has given high yields of 2‐earbamoyl‐4‐isothiazolin‐3‐ones as the only isolahle products. Reaction with an iso‐thioeyanate, however, afforded a mixture of the isomerie 2‐thioearbamoyl‐4‐isothiazolin‐3‐one and 3‐isothiazolyl thiocarbamate. Keywords
