Abstract
The existence of a glyconeogenic pathway in rat skin was demonstrated by measurement of 3 of the key glyconeogenic enzymes, fructose 1,6-bisphosphatase [EC 3.1.3.11], pyruvate carboxylase [EC 6.4.1.1] and phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase [EC 4.1.1.31], and by studies on the incorporation in vitro of C from pyruvate and alanine into skin glycogen. This publication has 12 references indexed in Scilit:
