Abstract
A uranyl-EDTA-lead staining pattern using EDTA at higher temperatures than those commonly employed is described. This modification was introduced to test the effect of more drastic EDTA treatments on the posterior Pb staining; it appeared to be selective for the demonstration of non-nucleolar RNP [ribonucleoprotein] components within nuclei were used in this study.
