Abstract
We investigate spin transmission in ferromagnetic-nonmagnetic-ferromagnetic junctions with particular focus on the recent experiment by Johnson. We argue that there is coupling of the charge and spin fluctuations for the electrons on different sides of the junction. In particular, the magnetic susceptibility should be calculated regarding the system as a whole, providing a possible explanation for the discrepancy between theory and experiment. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
