Abstract
In animals [sheep and dogs] contrast medium and physiologic saline were equivalent as indicator substances in thermodilution. The ejection fraction was determined with similar accuracy in thermodilution and videodensitometry. The cardiac output was smaller when determined with videodensitometry than with thermodilution. Thermodilution apparently gives high values. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
