Abstract
Quadrupole distribution fits have been made of high-statistics Mössbauer spectra of some amorphous fluorides. The most important role of the value given to linewidth is considered. To analyze the resulting , the ratio is calculated and compared to the values of Czjzek's model. The data are analyzed for amorphous KFe samples and for various glasses whose homogeneity was also ascertained.
