Abstract
A new suspension of barium sulfate, E-Z-CAT, for use as a bowl labeling agent in computed tomography (CT) of the abdomen and pelvis was compared with diatrizoate (Gastrografin) in 111 patients. The E-Z-CAT labeled the duodenum more efficiently and patients preferred its taste. Both substances are satisfactory bowel-labeling agents. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
