Abstract
We have been able to disperse a magnetic colloid in a nematic lyomesophase resulting in a stable ferronematolyotrope. A coupling between the magnetic grains and the micelles of the lyomesophase has been observed. The value of the magnetic field necessary to orient a sample is reduced by a factor 103 in comparison with the pure nematic lyomesophaseKeywords
