Abstract
Using polarographic techniques, pO2 was measured in vivo in the peritoneal cavity of adult rats before and after transplantation of Yoshida ascites hepatoma. The pO2 in ascites hepatoma undergoes a progressive lowering during the growth of the tumor. While relatively small tumors are not subjected to a substantial O shortage, O supply becomes progressively more inadequate in the late stages of tumor life. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
