Abstract
A case study of Gilles de la Tourette''s Disease was presented in a 12 year old boy demonstrating neck and facial tics, coprolalia and echolalia. Psychiatric and psychological evaluations of the patient, his parents, and their interaction was described. It was felt in this case that the psychopathological reaction to environmental stress was of greater etiological importance to the development of the syndrome than organic factors. Keywords
