Structural Change in Regional Labor Markets: The Australian Experience of the Seventies

Abstract
A major purpose of this study is to review the ways in which regional and national factors influenced the structural change which occurred in regional labor markets in Australia during the seventies. Before embarking on any empirical analysis, it is important to consider the regional nature of the structural change process and to relate this to Australia’s substate regional structure.
