Abstract
We addressed the strategies of mapping protein binding sites on a DNA fragment by atomic force microscopy (AFM). The protein binding site was uniquely mapped by distinguishing two termini of a linear DNA fragment. Our simple methods were found very useful to get information on transcription regulatory regions by taking advantage of long range and quick scanning by AFM.Keywords
