Abstract
The structure of cis-polyacetylene doped with potassium and the structural effects of annealing were studied by powder neutron diffraction which is essentially sensitive to the chains. The spectra suggest a P2 1/m monoclinic channel structure. Annealing produces a slight contraction of the unit cell and an increase in order of the polymeric chainsKeywords
