Abstract
Procedures are described for the safe processing of multicurie quantities of irradiated red phosphorus into isopropyl methylphosphonofluoridate (sarin) having a specific activity of 250 to 300 millicuries per gram. The use of costly remote-handling equipment is avoided by suitable choice of synthetic route and apparatus design. Keywords
