Abstract
The theory of the secular perturbations of Saturn's satellites requires several corrections of the order of the square of the ellipticity, and the result is a substantial increase of the estimate of the parameter l . The data agree fairly well with the model S 2 of Miles and Ramsey. The ratio of the masses of the Sun and Saturn is 3494·8 ± 1·1, but the uncertainty may need to be increased to 2·0 to allow for that of the micrometer screw. Keywords
