Abstract
Two species of the genus Trichophyton are described T. mentagrophytes and T. verrucosum , etiological agents of ringworm in rabbits. They are distinguished by their macroscopic and microscopic features, their ability to produce enzymes and their ability to utilize and ferment carbohydrates.Keywords
