Abstract
Tunneling of right-hand-polarized electromagnetic waves through the evanescent resonance/cutoff layer which exists for propagation parallel to a magnetic field has been measured for the first time. The results are compared with the cold-plasma model of Budden and a hot-plasma model, both of which are in reasonable agreement with the experiment. Keywords
