Abstract
In this paper a three-dimensional “integral surface” is described, which is the projection of the section of the energy integral by the third integral. The unperturbed frequencies are assumed to have an irrational ratio, or ratio 2:1. This surface contains the orbits whose initial points are on it; thus the general characteristics of the orbits are explained. Keywords
