Abstract
The assessment of mental dysfunction in multiple sclerosis and discrimination from the secondary effects of sensory and motor deficits has comparability to similar work done on dementia in Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson disease. Two approaches to testing might include adaptation of the Alzheimer Disease Assessment Scale and inclusion of the P300 component of the event-related auditory evoked potential. Keywords
