Abstract
A system of three square coils was studied with computational methods. Design data are given which allow one to optimize the field uniformity for both the radial and the axial components, within a given volume of the coil system. By use of these data, it is possible to get a field of a given uniformity in a volume much larger than in a two-coil system. Keywords
