Student Supervision:

Abstract
Supervision is an integral part of the educational process for student social workers. Educators and practitioners are becoming more aware of the need to develop improved methods to enhance this learning experience. This paper reports on a study of field instruction undertaken at McGill University in order to identify present methods and make recommendations for change. Particular attention was given to identifying the specific supervisory behaviors most and least valued by students and their supervisors.
