Abstract
The number of localities where the ship rat was thought to be "always present somewhere" fell from 48 in 1956 to 28 in 1961. In about 20 localities where it was present to a varying extent in 1956 it had disappeared by 1961. A further reduction in status can be expected over the next few years. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
